Project Barwon was a home renovation in the beautiful-relaxed, Barwon Heads.
Barwon is a cozy holiday home which had a number of previous renovations completed over the years. Unfortunately, none of these were completed particularly well, and so the home had significant water ingress and structural issues.
We completed a near full-gut demolition back to frame, allowing us to completely re-clad the home, introducing a vapour permeable membrane, a cavity batten system, and double glazed windows.
Couple these items up with insulation throughout, and we now have a much more comfortable, and higher performing home.
We love the detailing to the kitchen.
The waterfall stone edges on the island bench, and vein wrapping the stone onto the splashback are some of our favourite features.
We tied elements in throughout the home, to make for a consistent and high end feel.
This included VJ panelling through the Kitchen & Ensuite, as well as around the Fireplace & the Front Door.
We used the same species of Timber throughout;
Solid Blackbutt Floors, Blackbutt Shiplap Cladding, Blackbutt Decking & Blackbutt Feature Battens.
