McLarnon Build Co is a team of passionate and dedicated individuals. We continually strive for best practices and are often implementing new systems and processes to deliver the best possible product, and experience for our clients.

Established in 2021 by Ned McLarnon, McLarnon Build Co has slowly grown in team and capacity.

We now look to align ourselves with 3-4 clients per year, to establish lasting relationships and complete thoughtful and inspiring projects.

  McLarnon Build Co recently completed a studio and double garage extension on our family home in Newtown. The first conversation I had with Ned, long before construction began, left me feeling heard, reassured, excited, and with clear expectations. This was a standard which was maintained through every stage of the build, and which far exceeded the standards set by our previous experiences with builders and architects alike. We felt that our specific needs and goals were centred in the planning stages of the build, and obstacles were tackled smoothly by Ned and his team- without us running the usual exhausting interference. Even as relatively inexperienced renovators, we felt constantly in-the-loop. Crucially, Ned was transparent about costs and contingencies, and provided such thorough outlines at every stage (and with every update), that we were able to effectively plan and budget for the project. Throughout construction, Ned and his team were professional, committed, polite, and organised on site- which was incredible since we were both living onsite during construction, and welcoming a new baby into our home. Constructions was completed according to Ned's timeline, and communication was incredible throughout. Not only has the completed build exceeded our expectations for both quality and aesthetics, it has completely transformed our family life. We remarked constantly that we wish we had more money to give McLarnon Build Co, to continue work on more projects. We have immediately referred our immediate family and friends to Ned, and are already talking with him about the second phase of renovation in the near future. His communication and planning are always spot on, and invoices are paid on time without fail. You can tell a lot about a builder by the way he treats his trades, and Ned sets the bar high. His attention to detail is second to none (almost annoyingly so at times!), which makes for well-run projects and high-quality results. His team is a great bunch as well – professional on site and always good for a bit of banter.
